August 26 thru 29 - Glen Rose Neo-Relix Film Festival - The objective of the GRNRFF is to showcase both shorts and features from around the world that illustrate the passage of time; where we have been and where we are going. As the "Dinosaur Capitol of the World", Glen Rose has a history that goes back to the very dawn of time, while also home for one of the world's most advanced nuclear power stations. A quick look around town and you'll find that Glen Rose itself meets the definition of Neo·Relix - bringing the new and old together. Glen Rose has no movie theaters, so the GRNRFF utilizes unusual spaces to project and present the films in competition. These are both outside locations, and restored historical locations, making the combination of the projection technology and historical significance of the venue a literal NEO·RELIX experience.
